KMCC Ireland Honours Dr. Jamsheela Naseer for Research Excellence
Dr. Jamsheela Naseer, a recipient of the prestigious Marie Curie Fellowship and the Science Federation Ireland (SFI) Best Researcher Contribution Award, was honoured by KMCC Ireland for her outstanding academic achievements. Originally from Kerala and currently an Associate Professor at EMEA College, Kondotty, Dr. Jamsheela has pursued research at esteemed institutions, including Trinity College Dublin, NIT Calicut, and Kannur University. She recently presented a paper at the International Conference on Vasculitis in Barcelona in May 2024. The event, attended by KMCC leaders, OICC representatives, and prominent community members, celebrated her success as an inspiration for aspiring students.
KMCC Ireland’s Launch
KMCC, the largest expatriate Malayali organization known for its charitable and community initiatives, has now extended its presence to Ireland. The launch event on 22nd March 2016, inaugurated by Shri Iype Vallikadan (Dubai Reporter, Mathrubhumi News), marked the beginning of a new platform to unite Malayalis in Ireland, addressing their concerns, fostering solidarity, and providing support to those in need. Leaders including Fawaz Madasserry, Shukoor Farhan, and Linkwinstar (OICC) attended the event, emphasizing the importance of this initiative for the Malayali community.
KMCC Ireland Joins Global Protests Against CAA & NRC
On December 22, 2019, KMCC Ireland stood in solidarity with worldwide protests against India's controversial Citizenship Amendment Act (CAA) and National Citizenship Register (NRC). The demonstration saw an unexpectedly large and hopeful turnout, with support from organizations such as OICC Ireland, Kranthi Ireland, Pravasi Kerala Congress, the Tamil community, and activists like Sarah from People Before Profit. Students from across India and foreign allies who uphold secularism also joined.

With over 100 members, we organize events like Iftar gatherings, Eid celebrations, and educational programs, fostering unity and preserving our rich heritage while contributing to Irish society.
